Hi, I'm Doug Price and I am the host of the number 1 rated Tequila Podcast, The Agave Social Club. I have had the honor to speak with some of the best brands around as we share their stories and introduce quality tequila just like it was made over a hundred years ago. While spending 12 years touring in the music industry based out of Nashville TN, I began building bars on tour buses. When done responsibly, alcohol has an incredible ability to create community. With a past steeped in family, culture, and celebration, it was only natural that there was gravitation towards tequila. I currently live with my wife and son outside of Orlando, FL where I host the show and lead virtual and in-person tasting experiences all over the country as I share my passion for tequila.
Far too many people hear the word “tequila” and immediately think of a bad experience in college or early twenties. They look at tequila only as something that you shoot or use to make a margarita with and in most cases, they have never considered sipping on it neat. I started the ASC to attempt to change that mindset. Tequila has over 600 possible aromas and flavor profiles. It is very complex and when made right with time, care, and love, it is a beautiful spirit that is worthy of respect.
